Jack (Edward Norton) is a yuppie executive who works as an insurance investigator of a large automotive manufacturer. He lives very comfortably, but madness is progressive and, to circumvent the crisis of insomnia, anxiety beyond their group therapy sessions, along with people with cancer, tuberculosis and other diseases, it is only in the middle of that Jack is dying feel alive and so able to sleep. His joy is only interrupted by the arrival of Marla Singer (Helena Bonham Carter), a heroin addict with a fixed idea of suicide. Suddenly enters his life Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt), a guy even crazier than Jack. They met on a flight and barely speak, but when Jack's apartment explodes mysteriously he moves in with Tyler, who lives in a crumbling mansion. Tyler offers a dangerous alternative: to sample animalistic instinct in fighting body. Thus was born the club's title, winning many fans to relieve their tensions smashing each other's face. The club has some strict rules: 1) You do not talk about Fight Club, 2) You do not talk about Fight Club, 3) When someone says "stop" or senseless to fight over, 4) Only two guys in each fight, 5) A fight at a time, 6) No shirt, no shoes, 7) The fights last time, as necessary, 8) If this is your first night at Fight Club, you have that fight. Over time, Tyler demonstrates that his plans go beyond the creation of the club, a craze, gaining fans across the country and so Tyler realize the dreams of his "Project Chaos".
