Synopsis:

The last years of the life of Ian Curtis (Sam Riley), lead singer of the legendary British band Joy Division. Curtis, who had a short, intense career, became famous for his talent for Lyrics Writer and his epic performance in front of the band. Suffering from attacks of epilepsy, without knowing how to deal with his talent and divided between the love for his wife and daughter and an extramarital case, he is hanged on May 18, 1980, to 23 years.
