Synopsis:


Bruno, eight years of age, the child is protected from a Nazi officer whose promotion takes every family to leave their comfortable home in Berlin to follow in a desolate area where the lonely boy is not doing that and not play with whom. Very bored and moved by curiosity, Bruno ignores the repeated recommendations of the mother not to explore the garden of funds and follows the "ranch" that he saw a certain distance. There he meets Shmuel, a boy of his age who lives a parallel existence and other across the barbed wire fence. "The Boy in striped pajamas" is a fable whose intention is to provide a unique perspective on the effects of the prejudice, hatred and violence have on innocent people, especially children, during the war. Live through the eyes of a German boy of 8 years of age rather sheltered from the reality of war, we witness a forbidden friendship that develops between Bruno, the son of a Nazi commander, and Shmuel, a Jewish boy prisoner of a concentration camp. Though separated by a barbed wire fence, the lives of children end up deeply intertwined.
