Synopsis:

The tragic loss of their son, who was not born to, hit the couple Kate and John and the marriage came to shake them. The woman's fragile mind leads her to have nightmares, which bring demons of his past. In the struggle to maintain an image of normality in their lives, the couple decides to adopt a child. Almost at the same time they take the girl home to Esther, a series of events begin to happen, leading Kate to believe that there is something wrong with the girl, who is not as innocent as appears. Wishing to protect his family, the woman tries to convince John to investigate the history of Esther. But he gives no attention to their warnings until it is too late.
