The mood is optimistic as the journey to Malagarasi begins. The team make their way to an abandoned village and make camp next to crocodile infested waters, and leave the following morning for a new campsite, where they discuss their pasts. The team then begins the trip to Ujiji, without the porters as a storm arises.
