Synopsis:

Walt Kowalski (Clint Eastwood) is a tough veteran of the Korean War, who is now retired. To pass the time he repairs at home, drink beer and will send the barber (John Carroll Lynch). His life is changed when going to have as neighbors hmong immigrants, coming from Laos, which Walt despises. Resentful and suspicious of all, Walt just want to spend the time that remains for life. Until Thao (Bee Vang), her timid neighbor teenager, is forced by a gang to steal the car of Walt, a Gran Torino from the assembly line by itself. Walt can prevent the theft, which makes it a kind of local hero. Especially for Sue (Her Ahney), mother of Thao, who insists he must work for Walt as a way to reward him.
