Synopsis:

11 movie of the franchise "Day in the stars." According to speculation, the story is well before the crew of Captain Kirk take command of the Enterprise. The plot is located 160 years before the birth of the character immortalized by William Shatner. In the first film in the series, in 1979, a phenomenon alien to monstrous size and power is approaching Earth, destroying everything in its path. The only ship that can deal with this deadly force that threatens the Earth is the USS Enterprise. The legendary captain James T. Kirk (William Shatner) is summoned to the task, but a danger foreseen can not destroy the USS Enterprise and his crew. After the success of the TV series "Stars in the Day" to Paramount had the intention of bringing his characters to a feature. Several versions of the roadmap for the 1st movie were made between 1975 and 1977, with a story called "Star Trek: Planet of Titans" came to be selected to serve as the basis for the movie. However, with the worldwide success of "Star Wars" in 1977, Paramount decided to abort the project before the start of filming, claiming that there was no sufficient market for two major films of science fiction. "Day in the stars - The Movie" is the first in a series of 10 films based on the American TV series of Star Trek.
