Synopsis:

Johnny Truelove (Emile Hirsch) is a drug dealer of 2nd class in a comfortable area in San Gabriel Valley in Los Angeles. Johnny and his friends live in an isolated suburban life, and with much free time, lead to life in search of parties and strong emotions. When Jake Mazursky (Ben Foster) can not the money we have to Johnny, he decides to kidnap Zack (Anton Yelchin), the younger brother of Jake. Towards Palm Springs, Johnny and his gang decide to keep Zack as collateral and will take you to parties, leaving him in charge of Ballenbacher Frankie (Justin Timberlake). Zack soon starts to live a fantasy of summer, since it is away from parents and surrounded by drink, girls and new experiences. At the same time he becomes a companion of Johnny and his gang, who no longer see him as a hostage.
