Synopsis:

A young couple Canan and Volkan who recently moving to its new home, but the joy lasted just cut short when Canan and is beginning to be possessed by an unknown entity and slowly turns into something other than human. SEMUM bases its' plot on the Islamic belief that before God created Adam and Eve, were wandering the Earth creatures that were created from fire. Such creations were jealous of mankind and now spend his time trying to harm them, has them and destroy them .. The Director Hasan Karacadag argues that he tried to create a model of Turkish-Islamic film and Torror, he would make the world recognize this model, which sees "Semum" as the first example. "Semum" has Ayca INCI, Burak and Cem Hakko Kurtoglu in roles that recounts the true story of a woman who lives in Izmir. "Semum" will be compared with "The exorcist" and the focus will be compared with Linda Blair, says the director.
