Plot:

A young woman, Marnie Watson, is granted early release from her prison sentence for manslaughter (killing her husband – a violent NYC cop – in self defense), on condition she wear an electronic ankle bracelet and remain within her home. This effectively put her under house arrest for the remainder of her sentence. The partner of Watson’s late husband keeps tabs on her from a patrol car parked across the street, hoping she’ll violate probation so he can send her back to prison. However, the 100-foot radius that Watson’s ankle bracelet allows isn’t the worst of her problems. Her dead husband (now a malevolent ghost) is still in the house and intent on savage revenge.

The audio on this release sounds fine, however, I can’t say the same for the video. Which is a let down as this is the WS version I was hoping for. It seems very dark to me, even in scenes that are outdoors/during the day. Sample pics and video are a night time scene but even when they are indoors in a room that is lit it still appears dark. Kind of a let down.

Plot:

The Family That Preys CAM XVID - STG

Quality:

Overall, the picture is good and clear and audio is great too. From the sample source VOB you can see how bad the angle is, and that appears to be fixed up well. The source is badly interlaces, but they seem to have fixed this quite a lot in the final release, but is still slightly noticeable. This release is a great CAM release, and the reason for internal should not deter people who usually watch CAMs.

Plot:

Wealthy socialite Charlotte Cartwright (Kathy Bates) and her dear friend Alice Pratt (Alfre Woodard), a working class woman of high ideals, have enjoyed a lasting friendship throughout many years. Suddenly, their lives become mired in turmoil as their adult children’s extramarital affairs, unethical business practices and a dark paternity secret threaten to derail family fortunes and unravel the lives of all involved. Alice’s self-centered newlywed daughter Andrea (Sanaa Lathan) is betraying her trusting husband Chris (Rockmond Dunbar) by engaging in a torrid affair with her boss and mothers best friends son William (Cole Hauser). While cheating on his wife Jillian (Kadee Strickland) with a string of ongoing dalliances with his mistress Andrea, William’s true focus is to replace the COO of his mothers lucrative construction corporation. Meanwhile, Alice’s other daughter Pam (Taraji Henson), a kind but no nonsense woman married to a hard working construction worker (Tyler Perry), tries to steer the family in a more positive direction.

Absolutely brilliant. It feels great to finally see this in High Definition. The source is 1920×1080 but its been scaled down to 1280×720. This was released as a box set, so you can expect Godfather 2 and 3 to follow soon. I hope you’ll enjoy this film as much as I have.

Plot:

Based on the best-selling novel by Mario Puzo (who co-wrote the screenplay with director Francis Ford Coppola), THE GODFATHER tells an epic tale of Mafia life in America during the 1940s and 1950s. Synopsis:

Hank And Mike 2008 DVDSCR XViD-PreVail

Quality:

DVDSCR - Skipping through, I couldn’t see much reason for a nuke. The picture is clear, and the timer blur is one of the best I’ve ever seen. There’s a “Property of Magnolia” or something that goes on for the first few minutes in the upper right hand corner, but that soon disappears, and the sound seemed fine. Check the sample if you’re one of those that’s a bit picky about your screeners.

Plot:

Thomas Michael, Paolo Mancini, Chris Klein and Joe Mantegna star in director Matthiew Klinck’s holiday-themed comedy concerning two downsized Easter bunnies whose friendship starts to suffer when the multi-national corporation that owns all holidays decides to make some serious cutbacks. Hank and Mike are the Felix Unger and Oscar Madison of holiday mascots: They may seem like a mismatched pair yet their differences are precisely what’s kept them together all these years. While Hank is a hard drinking ladies man, Mike can’t seem to look past his own insecurities long enough to realize how truly miserable he is. Once a year, Hank and Mike dutifully venture out to deliver Easter baskets to families everywhere. This year, however, Easter Enterprises has taken a hit, and all “Tier 2″ holidays (Christmas and Hanukkah being prime examples of “Tier 1″) are fair game for downsizing. Since Hank and Mike work only once a year, their jobs are the first to go. Subsequently relegated to the unemployment office and unable to break free of their furry-tailed past, these two longtime pals are about to discover just how valuable their friendship can be in times of need.
