Synopsis:

In the midst of central London, a successful Indian restaurant called 'Gaylord' is run by a Londoner of Indian origin called Pinu. A simple soul at heart, Pinu has many complexes - a special one being that he is a virgin and has experienced no intimacy with a woman. To top that, his biggest fear is to be laughed at by people... an ever-repeating phenomenon with him. Pinu is quite an introvert and has no real friends... the closest he has ever gotten to a friendship is with his foster brother Rajat, who is quite a contrast to his own personality. Rajat is very fond of Pinu, though is often a source of annoyance to him as he finds Pinu really funny.


One day, a young Indian fellow called Kamlesh come to his restaurant and asks for a job as a stand-up comedian. Quit thrown off, Pinu initially refuses but finally lets him join as a cook, who also does a stand-up act in the evenings. On the same day, he hires a new cashier - Renu, a young art student from India, who has a passion for caricatures. Life changes dramatically for Pinu as Gaylord begins to transforms... Renu works on the look of the place makes cheerful caricatures for customers while Kamlesh is fabulous cook with a great talent for making people laugh in his acts soon the restaurant is more happening and the business is much better. But the greatest difference in Pinu's personality now as he lets himself hang-out a bit with them.

One fine day, Pinu is thrown in to a daze as he walks away from the restaurant... he has discovered a totally new fear - he might be Gay!!
Pinu seeks refuge in Rajat's advice which is quite simply - screw a woman!
On a mission now, Pinu goes on a rampage seeking available women for a sexual rendezvous. However, it leads to him suffering another string of tragicomic situation, ending up feeling humiliated... and laughed at!

Synopsis:

8 X 10 revolves around Jai, a man who has the power to see into the past. He uses this power to help people even though using it nearly kills him every time. When his father, Jatin, dies in a mysterious boating accident, Jai's suspicion is aroused by the appearance of an oddball detective, Happi. The only article that can help him in his investigation is an 8 X 10 photograph taken just minutes before the accident by his mother Savitri that shows Jatin surrounded by his best friend and lawyer, Anil, his adopted son, Adit and younger brother, Sundar. Jai decides to use this photograph to go into the past to unravel the mystery surrounding Jatin's death. As he discovers clues he realizes that his father was actually murdered and that everyone on the boat had a motive. Now on a mission to unmask the killer, he undertakes the dangerous journey of visiting the past repeatedly. A cat and mouse game ensues, with the killer outwitting Jai at every turn. As the bodies pile up and time begins to run out, Jai ventures into the photo one last time with the killer on his heels. Does Jai discover who the killer is? Will the killer get him before the truth is uncovered? Does he get out of the photo in time before it is destroyed?

The film stars Preity Zinta, Vansh Bhardwaj, Balinder Johal, Rajinder Singh Cheema, and Ramanjit Kaur.

Preity Zinta plays the role of a young bride, Chand, from Punjab who moves to Canada to marry Rocky, played by Vansh Bhardwaj. I�ll say this has got to be one of most amazing performances ever by Preity Zinta. The way her character is portrayed and the way she has carried herself throughout the movie, she deserves a standing ovation. Vansh Bhardwaj, a first timer, is a young promising actor from Chandigarh. He�s managed to impress throughout the movie. The film has been shot so well that I�ve certainly become a Deepa Mehta fan. The entire wedding scene is one of my favorites in the movie.
